The first quarter of 2021 is behind us. The next three months are promising to be full of opportunities to connect, engage and learn, to be challenged and inspired: April to June is peak conference time.

Later this month, Philanthropy Australia asks us to consider “What does the future need from us, now?”, the theme of its national conference. In May, the Communities in Control conference challenges us to “Think Bigger: Fix Everything”. And our colleagues at Community Foundations of Canada are hosting the “All In 2021” summit in June, inviting participants to “Be ready. Be brave. Begin.” All these events are available online, increasing affordability and access. More information is included below to help you plan your professional development.

The National Community Foundations Forum is Australia’s only dedicated conference for community foundation practitioners. At ACP, planning for the 2021 Forum is now underway for an in-person event in October; further details to follow. We are looking forward to re-connecting with sector peers and colleagues ‘in real life’ at the Forum. We also hope to see you well before then at other events.
